The BBC Good Food Show School Trip was attended by Yr 12 and 13 Food students on Friday 11th November 2016

Article written by one of the students about the day:

We traveled by train up to the Olympia venue where the BBC good food show was being held. Arriving at Olympia we met as a group at around 10:30, but the opening times were delayed due to an unexpected power cut. The Paul Hollywood show was booked for 11:00, so we went there first. The show began with a 2 minutes silence in Remembrance of those who sacrificed their lives in WW1. We then wandered around to the different interesting exhibitors and saw a variety of culinary arts, we also very much enjoyed the free tasters that encouraged us to purchase the foods. We even had a chance to meet Paul Hollywood when we purchased his new cookbook “The Weekend Baker” which he signed! It was a very enjoyable day for us all, and a big thank you to Miss Meyer, and the parents that sacrificed their day! :):)
